Happy [Early] Birthday to Me
DeviantART was kind enough to remind me that my birthday is tomorrow and suggested I post a status update and "start a party." Uncommon Christmas Songs
Merry Christmas [Eve] everyone! Hope you have a safe and happy holiday! :heart: I was listening to Christmas music earlier while running some last minute errands and thought of something fun. I'm sure you all know that the radio tends to repeat the same Christmas songs over and over. But there are hundreds more out there. So: Give me a list of at least two uncommon or obscure Christmas songs that you like but never hear on the radio. My Doggie Had A Stroke...
UPDATE 3.30.23: My little Petie passed away Monday morning. We ended up putting him to sleep. He was in too much pain. During the day was decent at times, but he suffered so much at night that we knew it was time. His last night alive was particularly bad. He cried and barked all night. I walked him around the house for nearly two hours because it would quiet him a little. No medicines worked. He finally fell asleep exhausted at 4:30am and I continued to watch him through the morning. After he'd woken up again and began to cry, we gave him more medicine and he'd calmed down. He was peaceful after that- even when we were waiting at the vet. He passed calmly, peacefully, and quickly. It was what was best for him, but it was such a hard loss for my whole family- myself especially. I cried pretty much all day until I'd made myself sick and my eyelids were so swollen it looked like I'd had an allergic reaction. Since then, I've been trying to keep myself distracted doing artwork
Finally Starting Treatment!
So I was diagnosed with MS and have been battling it since February. It's been a long road of tests and scans and constant symptoms. Tomorrow is the day I FINALLY begin my first treatment! I'm so relieved it's finally here- and also very nervous. It's an infusion that I will be getting over the course of a few hours at the hospital. Since this is my first one, I'll be getting half the dose tomorrow and the second half in exactly two weeks. Afterwards (if I respond well to it), it'll be a single dose every 6 months. After I get it, I'll be there anther few hours to be monitored to make sure I don't have any negative reactions to it. The reaction percentage is pretty high, so I'm very nervous about that. Some reactions are mild, and some very serious. I'm hoping I'm lucky enough to not have any negative reaction to it (not while monitored and not within the 24 hours afterwards when it can still happen while I'm back at home).
